London in winter is the most miserable place on earth. It’s always gloomy and rainy, not a single ray of sunlight. All the sky is covered in clouds. You just want to sleep all day and do nothing, even if in general you’re not that kind of a person.

I’m a very energetic person, and I don’t like being in such mood at all. If you want to cheer up during cloudy days try to do one of the following:

  • Go to the gym or do sports at home. It will give you energy to do all the necessary chores during the day and prevent from falling asleep;
  • Buy yourself good vitamins. Sometimes we feel tired because there is not enough of some chemical element in our bodies. Taking vitamins during the year will also help you look better and make your hair and skin healthy and shiny.
  • Watch funny movies and listen to gay music. It’s important to stay happy and positive no matter what season it is.
  • If you like to travel, you can also go to some exotic country for holidays. However, I realize that this is not an option for the majority of us. So, instead you can print out your summer adventures photos and give them to your friend or hang around your house. It will create a happy holiday atmosphere!

As you can see, there are a lot of way not to surrender to depression during winter. For example, I’ve decided to hang a cheerful colorful picture of a tropical island on my wall to remember about my summer holidays. The photos I’ve made do not match the style of my place, so I’ve decided to buy a beautiful joyful painting by Leonid Afremov. He’s a contemporary artists, whose works are famous all over the world. He creates unique pieces of art, which are always very original and creative.

A stunning tropical painting hangs in my living room from this Link. Its rich colors of bright blue and yellow create a refreshing contrast with neutral walls. A sunlight, which seems to be shining from the painting, creates a warm sensation of coziness and peace. I really like positive vibes of this wonderful artwork.
